What can the BPA offer you?

By becoming a member you will have:
In playing terms it enables you to be a member of a structured sport which gives you opportunities to play from club to international level

At local level to compete in local Leagues and inter-club events. Also to compete in all events organised by the Region, including representing your Region at the annual Inter-Regional Championships.

At National level it gives you a chance to compete in international qualifying events, and if successful gain representative honours and also to compete in all the British Titles.

You will have access to coaching either at local level or on specialist courses. In addition you can also train to become a qualified coach.

By being a member you will be able to upgrade your membership (at no cost) to an international licence which will allow you to play in events abroad.

You will be issued with a rule book and if you so wish you can train to become a fully qualified umpire.

You will receive either in hard copy or through e-mail, information ranging from newsletters, details of Council meetings, promotional offers both the BPA and elsewhere.

The BPA provides you with a comprehensive insurance and liability cover.

Through being a member you can currently :
Obtain cheap holiday insurance, Be a member of the Travel Club, Apply for a low rate visa card.

You will receive a discount voucher for you to purchase merchandise from Pétanque Promotions Ltd, and you will also be entitled to other vouchers if you introduce others to the sport and they join the BPA.

All sport costs money to-day but these plus points for just £0.35 a week seems very good value
