Official Rules of the Game of Pétanque
The modifications to the rules that were agreed at the World Congress 2010 of the Fédération Internationale de Pétanque et Jeu Provençal (FIPJP) in Izmir, Turkey are clearly shown using blue italics in the French and English translation.
These changes and refinements should improve all players understanding of the rules and enable umpires to apply them more consistently.
